WHAT'S NEW?

Our philosophy of Better Beauty, by Design is all about embracing the beauty of rituals and creating intentional designs that yield beautiful results. What’s new this month? We’re highlighting people who live the mission of Better Beauty, by Design in their personal, creative and professional lives.

MEET @PASSIONFLOWERSUE

Spring is almost here! We’re celebrating floral designer Sue McLeary and how her intentionally crafted designs bring Better Beauty, by Design to life.

Sue is a true floral artist. Her creativity manifests beyond the standard floral arrangements, into avant-garde floral jewelry, fashion, body and hair pieces, the likes of which have never been seen. Her new book, The Art of Wearable Flowers, teaches her craft to anyone bold enough to try their hand at this unique medium.

FLAWLESS BEAUTY MEETS FLORALS

Where can our rituals take us when we don’t put limits on our creativity? This is one idea we explored in our Spring Equinox shoot, taking floral inspiration to the next level in our beauty looks.

Artis’ tools were intentionally designed to offer a better beauty experience and help anyone create the looks they want to achieve, with amazing color payout and a flawless finish. For this shoot we took inspiration from the design and color of Sue’s floral headpieces, earrings and rings, as we look to go bold with our beauty rituals this spring.

Looking to play with color and design in your beauty ritual this spring? Here’s how to recreate these two Spring Equinox looks at home.
Looking to play with color and design in your beauty ritual this spring? Here’s how to recreate these two Spring Equinox looks at home.
  1. 1. With the Elite Oval 3 brush, sweep a pastel orange or peach powder eyeshadow across the lid.
  2.
  3. 2. With the Elite Linear 1 brush, draw a thin line with blue powder shadow or cream liner. Glide the brush across the lash line on the upper and lower lid, taking the line past the edge of the line to create a wing.
  4.
  5. 3. Want to add some shimmer? Use the Elite Palm Brush to swipe highlighter or body oil across the décolletage.

One brush is all it takes to create a bold eye look!

1. With a bright yellow cream eyeshadow (tip: you can also wet a powder shadow), glide the Elite Linear 1 across the top lash line to create a wing.

2. Swipe the brush across your Brush Cleaning Pad to remove any excess pigment.

3. Dip the brush into a magenta powder eyeshadow, and blend across the lower lash line.
