LITTLE MOMENTS OF CARE IN THE TIME OF COVID-19
At the center of the Artis philosophy, we’re passionate about creating better experiences for people. This Mother’s Day, on top of the seasonal gifts we typically offer our fans (more on that here), we’d like to make the lives of some moms on the front lines just a little better.
And we need your help.
In this new, strange COVID-19 normal, there are different levels of care that everybody needs. Right now, I’m inspired by the strength of all of the moms in my life who are forging ahead to provide them.
As a mother of two who runs a business with her husband (and who also got and recovered from COVID-19), I have been worried about how to keep my family healthy and our business alive, while doing our part to flatten the curve by staying home. So many of you are struggling with your own fears.
This pandemic is scarily intimate. It’s not a war on a far-off battlefield; it’s happening day-to-day in hospitals and in homes. And the impact is vast on all of the little things we do to take care of our lives each day: how we work from home, bathe and school our children, clean our homes, and cook meals for our families.
Care matters. My husband Jeremy and I have always believed that the most beautiful part of beauty happens in the littlest moments: whether it’s the moments of self care or in the care we take of one another. When I talk with other mothers, I find they appreciate this in a profound way.
Daily care in our family has changed lately. But, it hasn’t gone away completely. It just looks different: a few minutes spent brushing my daughter’s hair, blending lotion onto my son’s dry skin, or doing a three-minute skin cleansing treatment with my husband while brushing our teeth. I value the littlest moments now more than ever before.

One brush is all it takes to create a bold eye look!
1. With a bright yellow cream eyeshadow (tip: you can also wet a powder shadow), glide the Elite Linear 1 across the top lash line to create a wing.
2. Swipe the brush across your Brush Cleaning Pad to remove any excess pigment.
3. Dip the brush into a magenta powder eyeshadow, and blend across the lower lash line.
